Google API Services and YouTube Data

kopazar.com uses YouTube API Services to verify streamer accounts. When you choose "Connect with YouTube" in the Streamer Panel, the Google OAuth screen requests only the read-only youtube.readonly permission, which is used solely to read the public channel information of your own channel.

Data we receive: channel ID, channel title and custom URL (@handle), channel description, profile picture, channel creation date, subscriber count, video count and total view count. We do not access the content of your videos, your comments, private or unlisted videos, your e-mail address or any other data of your Google Account.

How we use it: (1) to verify that the YouTube channel belongs to you and to prevent anyone from using someone else's channel name; (2) to evaluate your streamer application automatically against subscriber/video thresholds; (3) to show your channel name, picture and subscriber count on your public streamer page; (4) to show your channel statistics (daily subscriber change) in your Streamer Panel; (5) to evaluate your zero-commission application. The data is never used for advertising, profiling, resale or creditworthiness. The counts are refreshed from Google periodically (once a day) so they stay current; for this purpose the refresh token issued by Google is stored.

Who we share it with: Your Google user data is not sold, rented or transferred to third parties and is not passed to advertising networks, data brokers or information resellers. Only the channel name, picture and subscriber count published on your streamer page are visible to site visitors. Apart from a legal obligation (court order or request of a competent authority) the data is not shared with any person or organisation. The data is hosted on kopazar.com's own servers and is not transferred to any sub-processor other than hosting.

How we protect it: All communication with Google is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS). Access and refresh tokens are kept only server-side in a database that is closed to public access; they are never sent to the browser, the mobile app or third parties. The database can be reached only by authorised system administrators from a restricted network using key-based SSH and access lists, and access is logged. Every operation in the Streamer Panel and the admin panel passes session and authorisation checks.

Retention and deletion: Channel data and the refresh token are kept as long as your YouTube connection is active. You can disconnect at any time from Streamer Panel → Channels → "Disconnect"; the permission at Google is revoked immediately and the channel ID, name, picture, description, statistics and tokens are deleted from our systems (only the aggregate support history of your streamer account remains). The same deletion is applied when you ask us to close your membership. You can also revoke the permission from your Google Account security settings; once revoked, the next refresh attempt fails and the connection is removed from our systems automatically as well. For deletion requests you can use the contact page or destek@kopazar.com; requests are completed within 30 days at the latest.

Because we use YouTube API Services, the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy also apply.
