Which product do you need?

In short: if you are spending inside the game's own economy you need Alz; if you are shopping in the game's official store you need E Coin. One cannot replace the other.
What is Cabal Online?
Cabal Online is an MMORPG developed by ESTsoft and released in 2005. The game is set on the continent of Nevareth. It launched with six character classes — Warrior, Blader, Wizard, Force Archer, Force Shielder and Force Blader — and more were added over the years.
What sets Cabal apart is the Battle Mode and combo system layered on top of normal level progression. Character power does not come from level alone: the skill tree, equipment upgrade (amp) level and combo usage matter just as much. The game is free to play; in-game store items and premium content are purchased separately.
Alz and E Coin in game
Alz is the core currency and covers the cost of almost every step of progression. At higher levels a single upgrade attempt can burn a significant amount of Alz, so how much Alz you hold directly determines how fast you progress.
E Coin is spent in the in-game store. A premium membership brings advantages such as increased experience gain, higher rare-item drop rates and teleportation. Costumes and pets are bought with it too.
